❓ Is it really bright, or is it like the cheap ones?
Many torches print huge lumen numbers on the box. We don't print a number we can't prove. Instead: when the rider arrives, switch it on, point it down the road and twist the head. If it doesn't impress you, don't pay.
❓ Will it really charge my phone?
Yes. Plug your phone in with your phone's own cable and it tops up from the torch's battery. It gives your phone a top-up, not many full charges like a big power bank. It's there so a blackout never leaves you with a dead phone.
❓ How long does the battery last?
It depends on the mode. The brightest mode uses the battery fastest; the lower modes last much longer. Charging your phone from it also uses the torch battery. The number on the side shows exactly what's left, so you're never surprised. Charge it like your phone, from a normal phone charger plug.
❓ It arrived not full and the head gets warm. Is something wrong?
No. It may arrive partly charged: charge it to 100 before the first long night. On the brightest mode the head gets warm after a while, which is normal for a strong LED. For long use, switch to a lower mode.
❓ Can I use it in the rain?
Yes, the aluminium body takes rain on the walk home or at the gate. Don't drop it in water or leave it lying in a puddle: it's rain resistant, not made to go under water.
❓ What if I don't like it?
You check it before you pay: nothing leaves your hand until it lights up at your door. And after that you still have 7 days to change your mind: we collect it, we pay the return, and you get your cash back.
