❓ Will it really feel different, or is it just a hard plastic mat?
Press it with your hand and the gel feels firm. Sit on it and the cells flex under your weight, which is the part that matters. Give it one full day in your usual seat before you judge it. When you first open it there can be a light new-material smell: leave it in open air for a few hours and it goes.
❓ Will it go flat after a few weeks like my foam cushion?
Foam gets crushed because it has no structure. The honeycomb cells spring back after every sit. Help it last: keep keys and pens out of your back pocket, because sharp points can cut the gel, and do not leave it on the dashboard in direct sun. Wash the cover by hand and wipe the gel with a damp cloth, then dry it in the shade.
❓ Gel sounds hot. Won't I sweat more?
The cells are hollow, so air moves under you instead of being trapped like in foam. It does not cool you like an AC, but you sit drier than on a pillow or a folded jacket.
❓ Will it fit my car seat, and will I sit too high?
It is 42 x 37 cm, which fits most car seats, office chairs and plastic chairs. It is 3.5 cm thick, so on your first drive you sit a little higher: set your seat and mirrors before you move off. It has no straps, so it is not made for a boda seat.
❓ Is this a medical cushion for back problems?
No. PoaSeat is a comfort cushion: it spreads your weight and lets air through, so long hours of sitting feel easier. It does not treat any condition. If you have back pain or any health problem, talk to your doctor.
❓ What if I pay and it is not what I saw here?
You do not pay first. The courier calls you, you open the package and press the cushion at your door, and you pay cash only if you are happy. If you change your mind within 7 days, we collect it, we pay the return and you get your cash back.
