Your questions, answered
❓ Will it really hold, or is it just glue?
It is a two-part epoxy: once part A and part B are mixed, they harden into a solid you can file, sand or drill.
It holds best on clean, dry, rough surfaces, so sand the spot first and remove oil, paint and rust.
❓ How long until it is hard?
Mix until the colour is even, apply, then leave it alone. Let it harden fully, ideally overnight, before you put weight on it or turn the water back on. Warm weather sets it faster.
❓ Can I fix a pipe while the water is running?
No. Turn off the water and dry the pipe first. Epoxy needs a dry surface to grip.
❓ What can't it fix?
Do not use it on gas pipes or gas cylinders, on car exhausts or anything that gets very hot, or on parts that carry a heavy load, like a gate hinge or a chair frame. For those, call a welder.
We would rather tell you now than have a repair fail.
❓ Can I keep the rest for later?
Yes. Mix only what you need for one repair, because mixed paste hardens and cannot be saved. Wipe the tip clean and put the cap back on.
❓ What if I am not happy with it?
